  1. 1995

    Founding

    Wholesale operations begin in Saint Petersburg. First direct contracts with foreign producers.

  2. 2000s

    Regional expansion

    Branches open in Moscow, Samara, Krasnodar, Yekaterinburg, Novosibirsk. The proprietary branch network takes shape.

  3. 2010s

    Segment development

    Systematic work with retail (Metro, Magnit, Auchan, X5, O'Key, Selgros) and HoReCa. Launch of the Fish&More consumer brand.

  4. 2020s

    E-commerce

    Launch of the B2B marketplace opt.defagroup.com. Platform relaunch in 2023.

    200+ employees, 6 operating cities, 250+ SKUs, 20+ sourcing countries, 90%+ returning customers.
